New Outreach Ministry begins!
Crossroads’ Cupboard
The Crossroads Benevolence Team felt we need to be doing more to meet the real needs of families in Avon and has developed a plan.  Crossroads is entering an exciting new partnership with Light & Life Church here in Avon to help stock their existing food pantry.  Light & Life currently distributes food to 40-50 families each week and are challenged to maintain enough stock.

That’s where we can help.  We can help bless families in need in the Avon community by donating canned goods and personal hygiene items each week.

Here’s how it will work.   At each entrance of the church, you’ll find chrome shelving with shopping bags (donated by the Avon Kroger!).  As you leave, take a bag home, fill it up, then bring it back and place it on the shelf.  Easy and simple!  Each week volunteers will deliver the donations to the Light & Life food pantry.

If you have questions or if you would like to volunteer in this ministry, please call Tim Hallett @ 432-3412.

Prayer Requests  Prayer Requests are emailed weekly to our Prayer Team who prays for the individuals on the request list.  If you’d like to be on the Prayer Team, please make a note of this and include your email address on the Communication Card. Please know the requests should be kept confidential.
